Frank Liszka
Frankie Liszka

Frank started playing polka music in 1969 with a group from New Castle, PA. called the Harmony Sharps, and played with them until 1972. He was lucky to have played with the Lil Wally band from 1972 -1975. Then Frank joined Bruno Mikos and The Harmony Stars and performed on stage with Bruno from 1974 through 1979.
In 1980, The Brass Connection (TBC) was formed, and Frank toured with that group until the end of 1987.
Frank joined The Boys in 1988, until the band decided to end their run at the end of 1990.
In 1991, he decided to take back the reigns of The Brass Connection and formed Frankie Liszka and TBC. They toured the United States for 14 years, until the end of 2005.
In 2007, Frank performed with a local Ohio band called Old School, and currently still play jobs with this fine honky style band.
The Boys re-grouped in 2011, and he were fortunate to continue a very successful 12-year run.
He has also been performing with The Nu-Tones since 2021 and is still fortunate to continue to perform on stage with this great band.
He is looking forward to continuing to play the music we all love with Frankie Liszka and Blue Magic in 2024 and beyond.
